Tenor

Tenor Gabriel Yafet has forged a remarkable artistic career that spans the sacred and the spectacular, from opera houses and cathedrals to televised galas and stadium anthems. With roots in Monterrey, Mexico, and now based in Texas, Gabriel began singing professionally at the age of nine, debuting as a boy soprano with the Compañía de Ópera Metropolitana under Eric Steinman. His early performances included roles in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors and Chip and His Dog, as well as national television appearances and numerous official engagements.

A celebrated interpreter of Mexico’s National Anthem, Gabriel has performed it over 200 times across national and international sporting events, civic ceremonies, and televised appearances, including renditions for dignitaries, mayors, governors, and the President of Mexico. His repertoire bridges classical, sacred, folkloric, and contemporary music, with standout performances at the Hollywood Bowl, Teatro de la Ciudad, Arena Monterrey, and international festivals in Italy and the U.S.

Gabriel’s musical education includes vocal training under renowned teachers such as Susan Young, Gilda Cruz Romo, and Manuel Acosta. He has studied at the Facultad de Música de la UANL and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and he brings a deep commitment to artistic excellence and faith-driven storytelling.

As a composer, producer, and creative visionary, Gabriel blends tradition and innovation in original works that resonate across generations. His latest production, Merry Melodies of Christmas – The Flame of Hope, showcases his passion for music that inspires, heals, and uplifts.

Above all, Gabriel Yafet believes in the power of music to transform hearts — and considers it his deepest joy to serve others through his voice.
